I hold degrees in chemistry and law, and have over 10 years’ experience working for the largest patent law firm in Japan.

A chance meeting with Bill Bennett many years before in Japan led to working with him at Pizzeys Patent Attorneys from 2016.  I am grateful for his mentorship, which was invaluable in leading to my registration as an Australian and New Zealand patent attorney in 2019.  I am happy to once again be working with Bill and many other colleagues from my days at Pizzeys.

My practice involves the prosecution of patents and designs in Australia and New Zealand.  In my 15-year career, I have worked on a diverse range of technologies, gaining extensive experience in organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, gaming equipment, and fraud detection systems. I am also fluent in Japanese and have interpreted before the Japanese Patent Office.

When not at work, I enjoy having a good laugh and taking a swing with my family at the driving range.
